This "Bavarian"-style beauty is the "backdrop to a dream vacation" with a "fantastic" mountain view from "immaculate", "well-designed" (all-nonsmoking) rooms and a "good" restaurant, plus a "tremendous" location "close to the gondola lift" and a free shuttle ride to the village; the "staff treats you like first class from check-in to check-out", the indoor and outdoor pools are a "hit", mandatory valet parking is a minor drag, but "small touches like robes, chocolate and water bottles" mean ski bums and summer vacationers "would definitely go back."

Staff was great, valet parking, and easy access to resort activities.
This hotel was great. Staff was more than helpful. Room was clean and comfortable, lobby is great, and spacious with a great sitting/pub area.

Amazing attentive, friendly staff. Convenient to everything, convenient and well run sporting rentals and the BEST massage ever!
The outdoor pool was not well maintained with tiles falling off and scattered across the bottom. Wish the common fireplace was not glassed in.

Very conveniently located for the Vail hospital.
Coffee maker - unconventional, no microwave, long and difficult hallway for injured guests.
It would have been good to know that there was not complimentary valet. Clerk said there was. We were there for medical procedures that were very taxing. Didn't need to have a 1/4 mile walk from the elevator. No bathrooms in lobby level of hotel. Again, difficult for someone undergoing medical procedures. ...read more

The hotel itself is very nice. The parking situation is very annoying because you have to valet park or use a lot over a mile away. Not family friendly! Also, the indoor hot tub was broken / under construction and has been under construction for years now! It's about time they fixed it! The linens are great on the bed, but it was so noisy in the halls that we weren't able to fall asleep until after midnight despite the comfy bed and high thread count sheets. ...read more

There is a lot of construction around the hotel location.
